Decision time is near indeed. Last night we told you about the much speculated upon, possible election date of February 6th - which is Ash Wednesday. And that it could be announced as early as Monday. We do know that on Monday, Prime Minister and party leader Said Musa has called all 29 candidates to a meeting at Independence Hall in Belize City. If the election is announced Monday, it would be 30 days before that February 6th date.
Of course, the rule of thumb is that whenever everyone is buzzing about a date - then, that's probably not the date. But, being that the apparently superstitious Prime Minister likes Ash Wednesday elections, we are sticking with it. So far he has an overall record of 2 and 1 in Ash Wednesday elections, and breaking it down to seats, of a possible 169, he's won about 92 and lost 77, which is a winning percentage of about 58%.
