As a true "Saidista," Minister Shoman was front row for all of today's events featuring the Prime Minister. And while the PM has activated his cadre of loyalists, he told us that this morning he asked the clergy to pray for a peaceful election.

Rt. Hon. Said Musa,
"I think it was a very successful breakfast. It is the first time to my recollection that we've met not just with the Council of Churches but the Evangelical group as well. I met them together as well as met with other religions; the Muslim Imam was there, the Mennonite community sent their representative, and so did the Indian community. So I think it was a very broad based group of religious leaders meeting with members of the Cabinet. And we had a very successful breakfast. We discussed the question about trying to ensure and to pray for peace during the days ahead as we go into the final lap of this political campaign."
