We also used the opportunity to ask the Prime Minister who will be the next commissioner of Police, or if Crispin Jefferies' contract will be renewed once more.
Jefferies is coming up on the end of the contract and we asked the PM, what next?:
Jules Vasquez
"Has a decision been made on the new ComPol or a ComPol going forward? I know Mr. Jeffries contract expires in May which would have in go on leave in April."
Hon. Dean Barrow, Prime Minister of Belize
"I believe that the minister is still examining the circumstances and he will no doubt speak to me and to Cabinet very shortly as to his recommendation but as of this point in time it hasn't happen yet."
