And so while Sista B wasn't at the front table - 8 others were - and they include the UDP's three Senator nominees. They are returning Senator Mike Peyrefitte and Aldo Salazar, joined by new face Sheena Pitts.
Three attorneys - but one of them, Senator Salzar is just a place holder.
He will depart in March to make way for a former mayor once he finishes serving his term in Belmopan. That's Khalid Belisle - and Faber was gushing about the personality who seems to be the new favourite politician from Belmopan:
Hon. Patrick Faber, Leader of the Opposition
"It is our intention at a later date by March I believe to make a change in these appointments and to appoint at a later time in March thereabouts Mr. Khalid Belisle, who is not able to take on the appointment today as he is the current mayor of Belmopan. Khalid will finish his duties as mayor and upon finishing, those duties I will advised the governor general of the change. He is an outspoken, articulate, bright shining star of the United Democratic Party and we will be very pleased to have him as a senator later on after he completes his tour of duty."
