And while the association is hoping athletes visit those centers, the Special Envoy made a visit to the Governor General on Monday. As you know, the GG is preparing to demit office and, according to a letter he wrote to the Prime Minister, he noted that he is doing so as a response to the PM's request. And while the special envoy, Rossana Briceno, spoke with the GG about his legacy, she also discussed with him the needs of her office and potential area in which his office can assist. She also thanked him for his recent donation of $5,000 towards the commencement of programs under the Office of the Special Envoy. The GG encouraged her to seek partnership with the citizenry and business community to support the work of her office.
