Last week we told you about the immigration department's amnesty program for Central American migrants - which starts in April of next year. It will seek to regularize the more than 22,000 undocumented Central American migrants currently illegally resident within our borders.
But what happens after the government manages to get those now illegal migrants into the system? Well, the PM says that the status quo is about to change and that one of the results post-Amnesty program will be the cracking down on illegal migration.
Here's how he explained that plan today, complete with the role that the BDF will have to play to make it happen.
