"We knew she was going to retire. How is it we are taking so long to fill the post?"
Hon. John Briceno, Prime Minister
"There is a difficulty in trying to find the right persons to fill these posts. And presently we have a person acting in that position and we were looking within the public service to see if we can find somebody that can adequately fill that position and once, we do that, we would be happy to fill it permanently. I could also tell you probably this week or next week we are going to put an advertisement for the ombudsman position and the people can apply and the letter for the appointment for the integrity commission has gone to the governor general for that appointment."
