It took the Briceno administration two years, but they have finally sworn in an Integrity Commission - one whose appointment was confirmed in May.
The body - which is supposed to ensure transparency and the prevention of corruption in public life started off on an inauspicious leg by having a closed swearing in ceremony - which the press was not invited to attend - and in fact learned about two days later.
The chair is attorney Andrea McSweaney McKoy, and the members are George Swift, Zoe Roberson-Zetina, Ricardo Moguel, Katherine Meighan, Payal Ghanwani, and Jaraad Ysaguirre.
All except one were sworn in on November 28th by the Governor General. They will serve for a period of two years.
