The Senate Special Select Committee has held two public hearings so far. And while the sessions haven't exactly been exciting or hugely revealing - it may tend towards that direction next week Wednesday.
That's when an all star cast of past ministers at the centre of the Portico scandal have been summoned to appear. They are Hugo Patt - who is the former Minister of Natural Resources - and Erwin Contreras - who is the former minister of Economic Development, Trade and Investment.
Patt authorized the transfers of private parcels of land to Portico and related parties a week before the 2020 elections, and Contreras, of course, signed the Definitive agreement.
Also summoned to appear is former Lands Commissioner Wilbert Vallejos.
