And, in other diplomatic news, the PM's office seemed to be in quite the tizzy today when King Charles made a courtesy phone call. A photo from the PM's office shows Briceno and his Foreign Minister Francis Fonseca excitedly huddling for the phone call with the King, who is Belize's Head of State.

A press release says, quote, "The King and Prime Minister Briceno discussed the 27th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, which will be held in…Samoa, from October 21 to 26, 2024."
