Untitled Document And while Tracy endorsed Elvi - and that's surprising enough - we were even more surprised to see Trade and Investment Ambassador Haisam Diab nominating Prime Minister John Briceno in Orange Walk Central on Monday.
We say this because Diab is known to operate multiple deluxe apartment and office buildings in the city - so we were found it odd that he is now a registered and favored Orange Walk Central voter - especially in an election when the malapportioned voters list is such a big issue.
But, for the PM, it's no issue at all:

"Haisam Diab, why did you choose him as your nominator and is he now a voter in Orange Walk Central?"
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"[Pause]. Who can nominate you in a division?"
Courtney Menzies:
"One of your constituents."
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"You just answered your question. Thank you very much."
