Last week, you heard from the Minister of Public Service on the 42 permits for pharmaceutical importation that had allegedly been issued fraudulently and without authority by drug inspector Amini Galvez. He had told us that the Ministry of Health and Wellness was not happy with the decision made by the Public Service Commission, so they applied for a judicial review. Well, we followed up with the Minister of Health about this today and here's what he said.
Kevin Bernard, Minister of Health & Wellness

"Well as far as you know there is a judgment the court had ruled on, in speaking to my CEO when this matter was bought to the attention of the public service commission time had elapsed and to no fault to the ministry because the ministry did take out the necessary, did do the processes that needed t be followed and I think that the matter was taken for judicial review and the courts have ruled that the public service commission need to have the hearing that is as far as I can comment at this time because again the matter is still alive and has to be dealt with by the commission as far as the court had instructed and so I will leave that to the commission to do their investigation their part witnesses I believe have, both statements have been supplied they have all these things in their hands and whatever decision the commission finds."
"Necessary then that will be the decision that we have to abide by."
