And while Musa would not entertain any assumptions around the Compol - he did try and seize on what he says are inconsistencies in Budna's account:

"I think well first of all, an independent investigation is not anything that has ever been done, at least to my knowledge. The police department is charged to investigate offenses in this country. There is nothing to suggest the Compol is in on this, and that he is not taking the right action as it comes to investigating this. I know that Jules is saying that the man said car instead of SUV, but Budna said there were wearing masks and they were not wearing masks, So you have to look at all the facts of the case. And in my mind, what is proof positive that we need an independent investigation is the fact that the police officer, a corporal came on the scene from that footage, which I have to assume is a legitimate footage and has to I have to assume that and then was directed by those individuals to leave. That, to me, sends the message, we need to have an independent investigation into this."
