This summer, the Occupational Safety AND HEALTH bill was finally introduced in the House, but that's where the rush of the OSH stopped. Today the media asked CEO Shal for an update on the bill. He explained that it will be back in the House soon.
Valentino Shal, CEO, Ministry of Labor
"Regarding the OSH bill, it went to the House and it went to committee. We had consultation with a large group of stakeholders, and I really want to say thank you to them, because the feedback they gave us helped us to clarify many things and also strengthen the law to ensure that, their interests were addressed, are being addressed in the law. And so we took their feedback and we together with the, ministry of the Attorney General, revise the bill. And the bill has now gone back to the House Committee. So I believe that whenever there is a House meeting, it will go back to the house. So it's in its final stages."
