But, the best of his ability has not been stellar in the first five years of governance. Ferguson left a trail of mismanagement in the Ministries he's been in charge of from 2020 - 2025. So what are the guardrails that PM Briceno has put up around him this time? We've heard such do exist, but, he told us, not so:

"Will you be in charge of supplies and control permits?"

"And what cautions has the PM given you for the management of this ministry?"

"Well the PM told me to just go and do your best and be sure that you walk in a straight line to make sure you deliver the goods and the services. And I promised him I would do my best in the ministry to enhance it and improve it."
Jo-
"Is it true that the prime minister told you that you cannot employ your son and nephew at the ministry?"

"That is not true."
Jo-
"And Jose Mai has a Prado as a ministerial ride, will you get that now?"

"No ma'am I don't need no Prado."
