"And I know you wouldn't want to be invidious against the new commissioner. You have wished him well. But he has made certain characterizations of the, the, the, the mode of management under your tenure as Compol, indicating that certain departments were under utilized or not properly utilized."

Chester Williams, Former Compol

"Well, I was I will always say that it was rather unfortunate that he made those comments. I did heard it. On the other hand, I do not feel like it's a proper representation of my tenure."

"Because, everything that we did, he was a part of, including making sure that officers account, not just to the, to the department, but to the public. We worked as a team. Yes. I I'm not going to say no. I, I had a very hard line approach. As commissioner, please. And I do believe that the office do requires that you must have a hard line approach at the of the day you're dealing with people and people, different people have different characteristics."

"And, in order for you to be able to get things done the way it should be done and make people understand that you are serious about getting things done, you cannot be a boy on a popularity contest. You must be a man on a mission to ensure that the tasks that you have been given, that you carried out to the best of your ability, whether people like you or not."
