And turning now to governance matters, the Public Service Union has sent in a Freedom Of Information Request asking for details behind government's contracting a firm named Neo Peoples.

The FOIA request has gone unanswered but the Minister of the Public Service spoke freely about it yesterday:

Henry Charles Usher, Minister of the Public Service
"So, well first of all, it is a contract with E-Data, Neo People is the service being provided-that is the particular software used-and the contract is actually with E-data. And yes, meetings have been held with the Public Service Union, with the APSSM and with the BNTU. A presentation was made to them by the proprietors of E-data, particularly in reference to this contract for, for the government and the registration of public offices and the digitization of the services being provided. So, yes that contract is completed, that contract is being carried out, and it's still in discussions with PSU."
