And keeping that food spicy was RSL Group Limited. That's the supply company co-owned by the Cabinet Secretary Stuart Leslie which has been supplying seasoning to the BDF-to the tune of 85 thousand between May 13th and June 4th of this year-with another 49-thousand-dollar invoice pending clearance.

So, what did the PM know and when did he know it? That's what we asked him today:

Courtney Menzies:
"Were you aware that he owned the company?"

John Briceno, Prime Minister
"I was not aware."

Courtney Menzies:
"Do you think this is an appearance of self-dealing though?"

John Briceno, Prime Minister

"Well, he has already pointed out that all he was trying to do was help a family friend, and in hindsight you have 20/20 vision and he said, 'Prime Minister, maybe I shouldn't have allowed-' He wasn't fully aware of what all was taking place in a sense, but he made it very clear that he at no time called anybody for them to be able to get any kind of contracts of any kind of special favors. And obviously when you see the amount of business they got, they weren't really getting any kind of special favors, so sometimes we don't think things through until we look back and say, 'I could have done it better.' And so it's a learning process for anybody."

Courtney Menzies:
"Do you think it was unwise of him to put his name on the company though?"

John Briceno, Prime Minister
"I think he's already answered that."
