They were blown out by Mexico, but this weekend, an undermanned Belize National Basketball Team had some success against El Salvador. Belize won the first game by 4 points, with 79 to 75.

The second game did not go as well. With 45 seconds left in the second game it was called off after the match became too physical with elbows being thrown and the friendly match becoming a confrontational. Belize was losing by 8 points when the game was called off. BradsNeal says however that despite the flare up in the second game the team left on good terms. They will now travel to Mexico for two games in the COPABA, the first will be played in Playa Del Carmen on Tuesday and the second to be played in Chetumal on Wednesday.
