Team Belize 0-6 in COPABA Basketball Tournament

Hopes were high, but the Belize National Basketball Team has emerged from the COPABA Basketball Tournament without a single win. The team played Costa Rica on their home court over the weekend and to its credit, lost the first game by only 10 points. But whatever sparks of hope came out that game, were snuffed out in the second game when Belize lost by 67 points 140 to 73. Mexico and Costa Rica will now play in the COPABA final on May 26 and 27. The winner of that goes on to Centro-Basket, which is a qualifier for the Americas championship.
