And finally tonight we checked in on one of Belize's professional athletes, home on a visit just before a major shift in his career.

He's volleyball player Bryton Codd, a man who, last year, took his sports dreams all the way to snowy Finland.

It's a story of drive and determination all encompassed by a Belizean who had to get way out of his element in the hope of achieving his dreams. Here's that story.

While at home Bryton is giving back through his BK sports Group, a sporting group on a mission to quote: "nurture the roots" of sports countrywide. The group focuses on supporting the educational ambitions of student-athletes who are seeking tertiary level scholarships.
