Belize is back up again in the Men's Central American Volleyball championship, after securing its first win in the tournament last night, beating Panama in a 5 setter game.

There was pressure on both sides of the court, especially for Belize after they lost their first match on opening night to El Salvador.

But the senior squatters knew that they had to redeem themselves, and refused to accept another defeat even after losing the first two sets to Panama. And so the team snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat, emerging victorious, scoring 15-11 in their last set. It was a stellar performance which kept them in contention. Tonight at 7:30, we'll see if they will be able to deliver the same results in tonight's match against Honduras.
