Football Fight Was Ugly

There was an ugly scene on the football pitch at Isidoro Beaton Stadium on Saturday night. A fight broke out in the bleachers and spilled over into the field - at the end of the second division match under the Belmopan Football Association.

A statement from the Football Federation of Belize says that it condemns any and all acts of violence or aggression. It adds that the Belmopan Executive committee will be meeting to launch an investigation to determine the way forward in terms of sanctions and possible expulsions.
