Last night we showed you the under 15 volleyball girls who returned home with silver. Tonight we'll take a closer look at the overjoyed reception - for these girls who medalled for the first time at the under 15 level, You'd better get to know their names now, because these are the stars of the future:
They were greeted by a host of loved ones and supporters who celebrated their arrival yesterday evening at the PGIA. Belize's Female U15 National team returned to country after 5 days in Managua Nicaragua representing Belize in the U15 Female Central American Volleyball Championship. The girls snagged a silver medal after beating El Salvador in their final game with a score of 3 to 0. Their assistant coach told us that the girls worked very hard to place at this year's tournament.
Kyle Garbutt, Assistant Coach, U15 National Team

"So it was a great tournament the girls did really well we knew that they were going to place because we had worked very hard with them from since we had left the U17 tournament that was in September as well. We were preparing from since then to have our girls be ready and waiting for all the teams that were coming from Nicaragua to meet."
"We were actually shooting for first because most teams always shoot for first but then we had just fallen short but we are going to prepare very hard for the next tournament and we should shoot for first for the next tournament because that's a goal you should always go for you should always go for the first."
Two of the athletes on the team also participated in the U17 tournament back in September. They say that the overall experience also helped them to prepare for the U15.

Jaimelee Espejo, U15 Team Captain
"It was very exciting I had so much fun and I was kind of nervous at times but I went through it."
Jo-
"What would you say was your most challenging match?"
Jaimelee Espejo, U15 Team Captain
"I would say either Nicaragua or Costa Rica."

Emaun Marin, U15 National Team, Align
"It wasn't my first time participating I had just left in September for a U17 tournament but the experience was nice some of the girls from U17 were the same girls from the U15 group they used some of the girls like from costa and El Salvador. The experience was great was because all of the girls were very nice and they always showed support no matter what."
"My most challenging match was Costa Rica and Nicaragua because both teams were like I think the hardest teams so I felt like our preparations were getting to practice in the morning calming down and staying calm and just playing out game and having fun."
