And, while some will be traveling to Mexico, others will be at home, some of them playing a much anticipated basketball tournament in the city. Tonight, the 10th annual William Dawson Basketball Tournament has commenced. While it was only named after the former LIU chairman a couple of years ago, the tournament started long before his involvement. And this year, twenty teams are competing. The tournament lasts for three months and tonight's games are being played at the Bird's Isle.
