Hundreds of travelers are tonight stuck in Belize after four international flights to and from Belize were cancelled today because of the weather. An official at the Phillip Goldson International Airport told 7NEWS this evening that the two flights each from Taca and Continental Airlines from Houston were postponed until tomorrow due to inclement weather. From the Continental flights alone there are 300 plus passengers who will spend an extra night in Belize because of the delays. Continental says there will be four flights tomorrow in order to facilitate all passengers. The good news from American Airlines is that one of its flight from Miami did land. Last reports from the airport was that American flights from Miami and Dallas were diverted to Cancun and are still expected to land later this evening.
