Last night we told you about the start of the Hurricane Season. For Belizeans - especially those of us in Central and Western Belize that got hit by Hurricane Lisa last year, it is a time for somber reflection on the "lik" that many of us took last year.
And while Lisa did hit, it came 6 years after the previous storm. They have never hit Belize in successive years. We asked the Chief Met Officer for a forecast for this year's season:
