For the second time this year Courts Belize gave six winners of the "Catch the Cash Draw" a chance to step into the whirlwind of the courts cash booth to snatch up as much as two thousand dollars. On Tuesday the winners from every district where Courts has a branch office made off with a guaranteed 2 thousand dollars and a chance to grab as much in the catch the cash booth. We caught up with a couple of them as they braved the whirlwind looking for a windfall:
Violeta Chan, Courts Catch the Cash Winner
"At first I felt nervous but then after words I realized that I had to grab as much as can. I'm glad I got at least some out.".
Alfonso Noble
"What will you do with the money?"
Violeta Chan
"Well, no plans yet I still haven't recovered from the shock of winning, so maybe later we'll have plans as to what we'll do with the money."
Alfonso Noble
"What will you do with the money?"
Ramon Hernandez: Courts Catch the Cash Winner
"Right now for education of my children. How the high school will start, it just comes in time." Alfonso Noble
"Do you feel lucky?"
Ramon Hernandez: Courts Catch the Cash Winner
"Ohh, Very lucky. I thank Courts a lot because this da wah lee 'han' right?"
Anna Marie Bennett: Marketing Manager
"Most of the winners today caught over one-five, over a thousand dollars. The most was one five something."
Alfonso Noble
"Why does courts do this?"
Anna Marie Bennett: Marketing Manager
"We do this to show appreciation for the business that the customers gave to us and it just guarantees that they'll come back to shop with us again."
The six winners were not the only ones allowed in the booth to grab money. This 3 year old Courts faithful asked to be given a try and came out with 3 hundred courts dollars. Money, we're told has no meaning to a child, so as her prize she got a football.
