$7 million Expansion for BTL Digicell Network

Everybody who's used a cell phone on the Northern Highway knows that the signal breaks off between the Haulover Bridge and mile 8. It's an endless and costly annoyance to cell phone users, and finally, BTL is going to do something about it. BTL is expanding its Digicell system with the installation of 7 new towers two of them to be placed in the dead zone between Belize City and Ladyville. A statement from the company says that the entire upgrade will cost $7,000,000.
