This weekend, three men and a woman were picked up by police and charged for the murder of Nadir Husman which occurred on the 20th of June.
Gerald Tillett, Kent Skeet, Glen Keon Williams, and Madina Martinez today appeared in Magistrate's Court to answer to charges of murder and conspiracy to commit Husman's murder at the Salt Creek Range. But while police have laid charges on the four they believe to be the conspirators to the killing, the mother of one of the accused Kent Skeet visited our offices to make a plea to Nadir's mom, Yvonne Moore. She asked the grieving mother not to pay the reward because two of the men are innocent.
Sonia Harris, (Accused Murderer) Kent Skeet's Mother
"My son and Keon Williams have proof of where they were all day. All day they were with this lady who cooked father's day dinner for them and everything. They had my son locked up in jail since Wednesday. I want the mother of (Nadir) Husman to know that whatever money you have to find the right killer, keep your money. I will double the money if I know that you will find the right person. I will double it for you to find the right one because my son is innocent. I know in my heart that my son did not do it. My son was crying saying 'Ma I didn't do it.' If my son did it, honest to God I would like him to spend his time but I know in my heart and everybody else that my son was with they know it was not him. My son was with a whole group of people that saw him all day up to late that night. And if he did it as I said I would like him to spend his time. But I would really like for the parent (Nadir's Mother) to call me at 207-0586. I would like for you not to pay out that ransom. Whatever you money you got do not pay it out because that is not the right killer. If she cannot come up with proof that my son and Keon Williams did the killing then don't pay this lady or whoever came and said they did it. Don't pay them. Contact me first."
Police are looking for a 5th person in connection with Husman's death.
