Police Search for Driver in Fatal Hit and Run

Police are investigating what appears to be a hit and run that resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man.

Police say they visited an area between miles 18 and 19 in Sandhill Village at around 12:30 on Saturday morning where they found Leopold Moralez lying on the highway. He was suffering from injuries to both his legs and head. He was taken to the KHMH where he died while undergoing treatment. Police suspect a hit and run and are asking anyone with information to call the nearest police station.
