A jeweler from San Ignacio is $100,000 richer night after winning Wednesday's $102,500 LOTTO Jackpot. Juanita Pinelo's winning numbers were 1, 9, 15, 19, and 24. Pinelo traveled to the LOTTO headquarters in Belize City to claim her prize and she says she has been playing the numbers for the past 4 years. The five numbers are the birth dates of her 5 kids which is who Pinelo says she will spend her winnings on.

"I feel very happy about it, that I won the LOTTO."
KS: What are you going to do with all this money?
Juanita Pinelo,
"I'm going to give my children their education. I have a daughter in sixth form, I will finish giving her education, and then I will take the rest of the money and invest in our business, to let the business grow more and so the money can grow more. We have a jewelry shop in San Ignacio."
After taxes, Pinelo took home $87,500. The LOTTO jackpot has rolled back to $50,000.
