Their names were pulled out of the barrel on Tuesday and this morning 8 Courts customers got a chance to spin their way to a maximum of three thousand tax-free dollars. They spun the wheel at the year's second Courts Jacpot show held at their main store on the Northern Highway. When it was over, some walked away with gas money, travel vouchers, and school coupons. The big winner was Carlos Cocom from Belmopan who took home $1,900 in cash and another 550 dollars in school supplies.
Carlos Cocom, Courts' Customer
"I won $1,900 in cash and $550 in school supplies. The last item I got from Courts was a washing machine."
Keith Swift,
What did you come here this morning expecting?
Carlos Cocom,
"Well I didn't really know what the prizes were but when I got here I was aiming for the jacpot."
Keith Swift,
And you got it.
Carlos Cocom,
"I got it yes. At this time I will pay some school fees, buy books, and other things at home."
Get your fill off that because the next jacpot show won't be until October.
