This weekend, Belize's 4 major new-car dealers will display shine, shimmer, muscle and motors at the eighth annual auto show.
Prospective buyers and even those who can only afford to look at the finest rides will have a chance to size up the new models.
Organizer of the show Edward Bouloy told us that contrary to popular opinion, the new vehicles are actually affordable. How? He explains.

Why have a car show if ordinary people out there like myself cannot afford it?
Edward Bouloy, Bravo Motors
That's one of the misconceptions that we want to change. There are a wide variety of vehicles that fit into different budgets. We also have very reliable trade-in vehicles as well, vehicles that are in very good condition, that you can afford, so never say never.
We do the car show to market our product to make people aware of what is available in Belize. All the new cars are here, so you can pick, choose and refuse. It's also a form of entertainment, you can come and pick out a Christmas gift for yourself or your sweetheart, and have wonderful Christmas.
The show is being staged at Old Belize and runs on Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 5.
