Price of Chicken Going Up By 12 Cents!

You can’t say we didn’t warn you because as promised and feared - the price of chicken is going up. As of Monday the price per pound of chicken will increase 12 cents - from $2.06 a pound to $2.18 a pound. A release from the Poultry Association says that with an increase in the price of inputs such as fertilizers and corn, in addition to the fuel price, the increase was unavoidable.

So, again as of Monday the new price per pound of chicken will be $2.18. It’s one more crushing aspect of the rising cost of living – which the Prime Minister addressed today and his comments will air after the news.
