Tonight we note the recurrence of an unusual event at the gas pump: Regular fuel is more expensive than premium. That’s right, a gallon of premium gas costs eight dollars and forty six cents while regular costs eight dollars and seventy six cents – making regular thirty cents more expensive than premium. The price of regular went up sharply on Monday by seventy-eight cents. Diesel also went up by thirty eight cents and is now seven dollars and fifty six cents a gallon. Kerosene went up by 22 cents.
