And, not just words, BTL says it's prepared to open its books to anyone who doubts that they don't owe:
Cherisse Halsall:
"You've said here today that BTL owes no taxes but it may be a bit difficult for the public to believe that without some transparency. How is that going to be provided?"
Mark Lizarraga, Chairman, DIGI
"Well I'm making the first step toward that today. I reached out to the unions, we reached out to the tax department and we as per norm for us been very transparent with what we do. We communicated with you the media and that's what we are trying to do to make our position very clear so that we're not targeted because some people feel so and so, but its based on facts. Everything that I've said today is based on facts which we are prepared to defend and prepared to share if that is necessary."
Cherisse Halsall:
"In terms of documentation."
Mark Lizarraga, Chairman, DIGI
"Yes, we're prepared to do that."
