There was a murder in the city this afternoon. It happened at around 3:00 when a man was socialising in a yard on Magazine Road - close to the Rogers Stadium.
Police have not provided any details but reports say he was shot multiple times and left for dead in the yard. When we arrived at the location, police and the scenes of crime unit were doing a full sweep of the scene for evidence.
The body was removed from the scene around 4:30 pm.
At the top of the news, we told you that the bullet riddled body of a man was found at the corner of Magazine Road and Logwood Street.
We can tell you that his identity has been confirmed as 39 year old Roman Requena. Reports are that Requena was inside his yard just before 3pm when another man entered and fired a single shot towards him. Requena was an auxiliary nurse.
We can also report that there was another shooting minutes ago near Mex Avenue. The victim has reportedly been rushed to the KHMH.
