Keeping it on fuel prices, the Supplies Control Unit from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise announced last night that the price of cooking gas went down at midnight last night.
The new import wholesale price is 4 dollars and 23 cents per gallon, and if you're located in the urban areas of the country it will cost 123 dollars to fill up your 100-pound tank. The price for that same full tank will be cost you 2 dollars more if you are located in the rural areas of the country. Lennox Nicholson, the new Controller of Supplies, says that these prices reflect a reduction of 20 cents per gallon for the current shipment, which is primarily due to a decrease in acquisition price for both propane and butane.
