Premium Plunges For Christmas

If you're a motorist who uses premium gas, you may have gotten a Christmas gift from the Government of Belize.

At midnight tonight, the pump price of premium will decrease by 48 cents from 12 dollars and 49 cents to 12 dollars and 1 cent per gallon.

Just last night, the Ministry of Finance announced that the pump price of regular gas would decrease by 37 cents from 11 dollars and 77 cents to 11 dollars and 40 cents per gallon.

As we noted, world oil prices, after soaring for much of this year, are currently trending down.
