Two days ago, we showed you the Christmas Luncheon for the soldiers of the Belize Defense Force in which Prime Minister Briceno and other leaders served the soldiers to show appreciation for their service.

Well, the police department won't be getting any of that kind of salute because they have to be out keeping society safe. But, their Police Commissioner has asked his senior officers to provide lunch for on-duty cops on Christmas Day and New Years Day. The Commissioner told us it is a show of appreciation for their diligence since they can't be home for the holidays:
