And while the Government is warning motorists to remain cautious at that portion of the road, Police in the Toledo District are reporting that there was an accident yesterday.
Reports indicate that it happened sometime around 5:30 p.m. between the villages of San Miguel and Silver Creek - in the Toledo District. A motorcyclist was reportedly hit by a bus which was heading in the opposite direction. This morning, the Police Communications Officer told the press that according to preliminary information, the victim passed away:

"It was a motorcyclist that was hit by a passenger bus. To give you the names and other details I will have to send that to you. It took place in one of the villages in the Toledo District. Like I said the information was just recently sent to me and I have to sieve through it and then I will send it to you in a few minutes."

"Are you able to say what's the nature of injuries?"

"It's a fatal traffic accident."
Police have not released the name of the victim or the driver of the bus.
