Fuel prices are at record highs - and tonight, butane is going up.

The Supplies Control Unit is reporting that at midnight, the price for cooking gas will increase.

The new import price for liquified petroleum gas is 5 dollars and 25 cents per gallon. That means the new retail price in urban areas will be $157 for a 100-pound tank. In the rural areas of the country, the price for that same tank of gas will be 2 dollars more.
