SSB Will Have New CEO

There's going to be a new CEO at the Social Security Board in mid August. Current CEO Debbie Ruiz has confirmed that she will not be renewing her contract. She leaves after 42 years at the institution.

So, who will take over? Well, reliable reports to 7News say that Dr Leroy Almendarez - who is the current executive Director of Beltraide - has been selected by the Board to take up the post.

On Friday, reports emerged that Almendarez had resigned from Beltraide where he has been ED since 2018.
