43 year old Vincete Cerraras appeared in the high court today before Justice Candace Nanton where he was found guilty of two counts of rape of a 14 year old.
The two rape incidents occurred on June 27, 2019 and again on August 26, 2019.
Despite Cerraras denying the allegations against him, DNA evidence linked him to the crime. A sentencing date for Cerraras has been deferred to September 11th. He could face a 12 years mandatory minimum sentence on each count.
Cerraras was represented by Attorney Ronell Gonzalez. Prosecutor was Romey Wade of the DPP's office.
