There was a fire scare on one of the city's busiest streets this afternoon. A business owner near the corner of Amara Boulevard and Cemetery Road almost lost his entire inventory when something caught fire inside while he was closed for lunch. 7News was there and here's what happened:
Just after 1:00 this afternoon, the neighbour to Samir's Jewelry on cemetery road called the Fire Department when she saw smoke streaming from inside the closed store. They responded within minutes and opened the shutter to find that a stick of incense had ignited a mop which was on fire. Very fortunately it caused no other damage. The owner and namesake Samir Bados was grateful:

"Well I feel good man nothing happened to me and no big damage in my store but I was worrying about this because it would have been a big problem if the whole place caught fire you understand?"
