And in one more bit of bus news - the Ministry of Transport is considering revising the minimum age to qualify for a commercial vehicle license which enables one to drive a bus.

That's after the 20 year old driver of a Floralia Bus knocked down and killed a 16 year old student in mid June.

Williams told us more today:

Chester Williams, CEO - Transport
"At this time the only thing we're looking at, basically, is the age of the driver. We believe that the driver of the bus at that particular moment was too young to be able to drive a bus of that size. So we're looking at reviewing the laws and, to perhaps increase the age to get a license to drive a public transportation, i.e. a bus."

Police are responsible for the criminal investigation into the bus accident - and so far they have not announced that charges have been brought against the driver, Yordi Salazar.
