The National Bus Company is set to launch and there is much concern over employment status of those already employed with these companies. Will they be jobless? Well not according to the Minister of Transport.
Dr. Louis Zabaneh said that they are ready to incorporate everyone into this transition.
Dr. Louis Zabaneh, Minister of Transport

"Absolutely. In fact, we insist that we want to, if everybody that's in there knows the upper, the first option, the first opportunity to continue with the National Bus Company. Now they all know that they have to engage in training, in understanding the values and the principles of the National Bus Company. And, that is something that we are preparing now for the transitional period that's going to be integral to this transition."
"The majority, I must say, are roadworthy, and the cash flows, the road service permits, is what allows the companies to operate. So those permits then allow the buses to go at certain times, and then you calculate how much income is made and the expenses that go with those routes. So that is what the National Bus Company has done. In terms of, the evaluation from the auditor's, calculated a certain amount, and that adds up to the 19 million on the busses to the 14 half, they would end up then having about about 70 busses because the total is, around 190 busses overall."
