Man Charged for Week-old Stabbing Murder

Hilibrant Blades died a week ago from a stab wound to his leg, and while his wife said it was the hospital's fault, the CIB office says it's murder, simple and plain. Now, Hilibrant Blades will have someone to answer for his murder. 49 year old Wilhelm Young, a construction worker, appeared in the magistrate's court today where he was read charges of murder, and remanded until his next hearing on August 8. But Young claims it wasn't murder, but self defence. He claims that Blades was robbing him, when he stoned him with a bike, and stabbed him in the leg. Blades, who had been beaten up just days prior, was at the time of the stabbing nursing a broken arm, leg and jaw.
