Mechanic Shot in Southside Gunplay

A Belize City mechanic was almost killed in a broad daylight shooting on Berkeley Street on Saturday. Conrad Bailey told police that at 1:15 on Saturday afternoon he was standing on East Canal between Berkely Street and Rocky Road when he was shot in the right elbow. Bailey was lucky to have escaped with only that injury because as many as six shots were fired by an unknown gunman.
